I would be a strong voice for Newmarket here and at York Region which delivers key services such as the police and long-term care. We must stop the endless sprawl which is devouring our countryside. I would work tirelessly to bring good, well-paid jobs to Newmarket while tackling the shocking housing crisis. We need a 15-minute all-day two-way GO Train service to Newmarket with no foot-dragging. And I’d make the case for a new Library.

I am a new Canadian. Proud to be here. I’ve been living here in Newmarket with my Canadian wife, Heather, for over a decade, enjoying every moment. I got to know the Town well by blogging about its politics and personalities at www.shrinkslessorsquare.ca I am not new to elected office. I was an MP in the UK for many years.
