Be the Francophone advocate for francophone students of York Region. If elected, I will operate with a fundamental principle that every student should have equitable access and opportunity to succeed personally and academically, barrier and bias free, regardless of background, identity or personal circumstances.
Biography
Hanane Jaouich is an entrepreneur who puts the needs of francophones as her top priority. Being the mother of 3 kids, it is important for Hanane to understand what would make the francophone education in York Region the best option for parents.
She co-founded the first francophone home daycare agency "Bonjour Sunshine" and created projects helping francophone in Ontario to overcome the challenges brought by COVID-19 restrictions with one that is still ongoing and name Évoluti'ON (https://evolutioncg.ca/). She also volunteer in a women shelter to provide financial literacy skills development to women experiencing hardship in their lives.
