On April 20th at 6 p.m. a candidate information webinar will be provided for prospective candidates.

Hosted jointly by the municipalities of Aurora, Markham, Newmarket, Stouffville, as well as York Region, the webinar provides information about:
- Your local government
- Becoming a municipal election candidate
- Who is eligible
- Key election dates

Municipal Candidate Information Sessions in York Region
A number of York Region Municipalities are hosting online and in-person information sessions. Most sessions cover the same content, so please contact the municipalities directly to register for information sessions at a date and time that works for you.
Additional sessions will be posted when they are scheduled.
